Sikkim the beauty of north-east - day 1

Hello my name is Rohit I am student from Hyderabad and here is a short summary of my trip to northeast of India, along with my friend and cousin so, as a student budget comes first before the travel plan, we were having a good budget I can say but still to decrease the cost of the trip we have done some stupid thing at the starting of the trip only that was going to Sikkim via Kolkata.
Because the flight tickets were cheaper to Kolkata than Bagdogra (this is the nearest airport to Sikkim will suggest you take this direct flight) so from Kolkata, we have decided to take a train to Siliguri, as no trip Is completed with some Twist here awaited our twist, train tickets were on the waiting list before we started our journey our luck is traveling some miles ahead of us and our train tickets were not confirmed.

Though our luck was traveling ahead of us so we decided to take it with us this time but " bhai hamara luck kabka direct flight pakadchuka that Bagdogra ke liye" and here we have booked a bus ticket for going to Siliguri, that to not the day we landed in Kolkata, it was an evening flight so we couldn't  get any bus, and now the big point was spending a day in Kolkata that to in a mid-may. literally after coming out of Kolkata airport, a sudden hit of high temperature and my spectacles were fogged and Kolkata mei pehla kadham hi Kol kata chukahta Hamara.

after taking a cab the were slowly coming to know what happened, the uber guy was so cool he told us some key points about Kolkata and suggested not to eat anything if your digestion system is weak. and our destination was not Kolkata so just followed the uber guy's tip about Kolkata food.

the night was something new and somehow we have completed that night, and in the morning we decided to explore the city and started

Howrah bridge on the bank of Hooghly river

with the iconic Howrah Bridge, you won't believe this but we have taken a ferry to reach and the best thing about Kolkata is everything is somewhat cheaper, so ferry ride cost us 6 rupees per head and it was best. from ferry stop to Howrah bridge,it was below 500 meters but in that gap we three
Have sipped around 4water bottles, it was that humid in Kolkata and then we have gone to victoria memorial, to be Frank, the purpose of visiting victoria memorial was it might air-conditioned and there were many people like us and from there also we have left and went to see a movie and it was baba Yaga john wick parabellum, and the movie was killing.

so, after the movie, we have left for esplanade to catch a bus to Siliguri, and finally, we have got the bus and started traveling to Siliguri.

that's it for today, about our journey to Sikkim will continue in our next blog hope you like, it's first my blog.
